As a Recruitment & Onboarding Assistant, you will be working within an existing team dealing with the first line support and supporting other team members.

The right candidate will be able to work as part of a team and happy to work independently.

 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR function, ensuring records, correspondence and documentation are accurate and up to date.

  • Support recruitment activity from vacancy to offer stage, including writing job adverts, posting adverts, arranging interviews, preparing interview packs and communicating with candidates.

  • Attend and support external recruitment events.

  • Review of agency contracts and maintaining the agency service level agreements.

  • Maintain applicant tracking records, including updating of the BPSS register and recruitment files, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate and handled confidentially.

  • Liaise with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules, confirm outcomes and progress vacancies.

  • Assist with pre-employment checks such as sending out DBS links, references, right to work documentation and other compliance requirements in line with Baseline Personnel Security Standards (BPSS) standards, company policy and legislation.

  • Support with preparing offer letters, contracts of employment and new starter paperwork ready for induction.

  • Support with the set up and updates of employee records on HR systems, ensuring new starter, contractual and personal details are entered accurately.

  • Where required, support the with the induction process by liaising with managers and relevant departments to ensure equipment, access and training are arranged for new employees.

  • Monitor probation review dates and send reminders to managers where required.

  • Respond to routine onboarding and recruitment queries from employees, candidates, managers and directors.

  • Support general HR administration where required, always maintaining confidentiality.

Person Specification

  • Previous administrative experience, ideally within HR, recruitment or a people-focused environment.

  • Good understanding of administrative processes and strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using HR systems. Currently Salesforce.

  • Customer focused approach with the ability to build positive working relationships across a multi-site organisation.

  • Knowledge of onboarding, right to work checks and recruitment administration would be advantageous.

The Quality Engineer roles are aimed towards individuals who are driven and determined to grow within the Hyde Aero Products Quality Department. , As the company will provide thorough training and development opportunities, this individual should want to with a view to progressing to higher Quality Assurance related roles (Senior Quality Engineer, Quality Manager) The role is advertised to coincide alongside a training and development plan to allow skills to be further developed. This role is aimed at a person aiming for a career in Hyde Aero Products as a key member of a multi skilled team.

 Main Duties

  • Initiative-taking Quality based problem solving, utilising KPI to drive improvements.

  • Root cause and corrective action analysis, in relation to both product and audit related findings, using Practical Problem-Solving tools, such as 8D, Ishikawa, RCCA 5 Why Analysis.

  • Management of non-conforming product and quarantine controls.

  • Supporting with FAIR review and completion in accordance with AS9102 and Business Core Procedures.

  • Supporting with APQP/PPAP review and completion in accordance with AS9145 and Business Core Procedures.

  • Reviewing, organising, and verifying documentation for completeness.

  • Consulting with the Suppliers and Business Units within the Hyde Group.

  • Assisting with Divisional internal audits against the Integrated Management System and customer standards.

  • Lead ‘Quality Requirement’ reviews, ensuring compliance with our customer quality requirements.

As the Quality Engineer, you will play an integral part in the investigation and responding to non-conformances, analyse quality data, proactively working with colleagues to improve quality, drive continuous improvement initiatives, develop and maintain standard work sheets, assist the Quality Manager in maintaining calibration equipment and devices, carry out daily calibration checks, ensure company approvals remain in place (ISO14001, Nadcap etc) and carry out internal and external audits.

Role Overview

The Production Supervisor (Sheet-metal) for Hyde Details is a key part of the Management Team and is responsible for the day-to-day production requirements, working closely with the team leaders and production scheduler. You will report to the production manager and where required, acting up in his absence. As part of the management team, it is expected that the person in posts will act professionally, with authority, by example, and with best interest of Hyde Details.

Role Requirements: 

Safety

  • Attend MRB for sheet metal related items / issues if required (in the absence of the Production Manager).

Cost

  • Commercial awareness; develop an understanding of the MRP system. 

  • Monitor operational times (op times/costs) and take actions in the event of excessive labour costs.  

  • Identify and address issues that cause costing issues (scrap, labour times, OEE, poor practice etc). 

  • Ensure that lean manufacturing operational practices are in place and that wastes (8 waste) are eliminated. 

  • Review operational practices for cost efficiency and/or identify and explore better operational technology.  

Delivery

  • Maintain an understanding of our client’s requirements to ensure that we can meet the level of delivery schedule adherence (DSA) targeted. 

  • Production Work to list (WTL) requirements; ensure that collectively (Team leaders/operators) the sheet-metal ‘production team’ are working to the engaged and making the right decisions to achieve the required level of WTL DSA on a daily / weekly basis.

  • Capacity: ensure that we have the required capacity in-place to achieve the WTL demands. 

  • Work allocation; assess the work content so that work can be allocated according to skill, training needs and to maximise the use of the capacity / resource available. 

People

  • Create and maintain a positive working culture to ensure that we maximise our output through work allocation, training and development and workplace enthusiasm. 

  • Training/skills development; using the skills matrix and by knowing your team, identify where training and development is needed to strengthen the team. 

  • Trade tests: use the range of trade tests to support operator development, creating additional trade tests where required.

  • Communication / DSUM’s; chair operators DSUMS to ensure that relevant information is communicated in a timely / positive way to enhance the workplace culture. Take and respond to any actions arising from these meetings.  

  • Charge hands / team-leaders; create, develop and evolve a small team of charge hands / team leaders (where required) to take responsibility for identified management tasks within the business. Ensure that their job descriptions accurately reflect their agreed remit. 

Sustainability 

  • requirements of ISO14001; maintain a working understanding of the environmental accreditation in order to make appropriate day to day decisions. 

  • Regularly review activity within the factory with sustainability in mind, i.e. wasted resources, incorrect management of the disposal of waste etc. 

Other 

  • 5S: ensure that 5S standard are in place, remain in place through training and that the 5S levels are audited and reported via the correct media.
